I took time away from the internet and dealt with the commotion in my life as of late. I can’t express how important it is to detach yourself away from the madness at times to center yourself, or if need be constant re-centering.

As my family prepares the Home Going Celebration (to what we call funerals) of my Grandmother Wednesday, I’ve been in constant re-think mode about life. I’ve been on a personal mission trying to reconnect with family members I haven’t seen in awhile, or falling outs, trying to build relationships....

Thank you Grandmother for birthing and allowing me to have such a wonderful father. I saw you in the hospital bed fighting for life this morning and I vow to be there for your son once the pain ends. I value your fight and lingering on, I see where I’ve gotten that from.
